Demolitions Man
Weapons: 1.) Crowbar - melee weapon
2.) Shotgun - fast but weak
3.) Grenade Launcher - just like in Quake
4.) Pipebomb Launcher - remote bombs. Launch them
and then press your special ability key too
detonate them.
Grenades: 1.) Hand-grenade - standard frag. grenade
2.) MIRV grenade - the ultimate room-clearer.
Initial explosion is BIG, and then, five
little bomblets come out and take out any
stragglers.
Speed: Average
Health: Normal
Armor: Average
Abilites - Detonate Pipebombs
- Set and detonate detpacks, which are explosives
that can take out obstructions, making new
entrances into the enemy base.
Comments:
The demoman is the man carrying the highest number of
explosives, so beware of engineer EMP grenades. Set traps
with your pipebombs if you are on defense. Set some in
your flag room and if anybody comes in, blow them up. Set
them around tight corners where the enemy will have to pass
them. Use MIRV grenades in rooms of enemies, but stay back
or the blast will take you out too. If you go on offense,
use your grenade launcher or pipebomb launcher to destroy
sentryguns and use your detpacks to clear away obstructions,
opening new ways into the enemy base. You're not a good close combatant, since your grenades can damage yourself, and
your shotgun is the equivalent of a child's pop gun, so lie
low and launch a few pipebombs behind you to scare off
