Comments: The fastest class in the Team Fortress army,
if you are the scout, you are the primary flag
capturer. Escorted by heavier units, you will
probably rush right past the sniper's lasers and
into the enemy base, outrunning instead of
outgunning enemy troops, toward the flag. Your low
health and armor make it a very stupid decision to
go toe-to-toe with any heavier unit. Your weapons are
weak, and your resilency is close to nothing. Instead,
drop a few caltrops to slow down the enemy and make
a run for it. If you are trapped in a room full of
enemy troops, drop a concussion grenade and run out.
Enemies will find it hard to shoot anything with their
vision spinning. Defense for the scout is a poor choice.
The only good reason for a scout to go defense is so
that he could uncover enemy spies. Other than that,
you have the stopping ability of a gnat against a
freight train if you go defense. Your worst
enemy is the sentrygun, as they can
mow you down in an instant if they catch you in
wide open areas. If you see a sentrygun, retreat
and warn your friends. Sometimes, you're fast enough
to run past sentryguns before
they can get a lock on you.
